Abingdon Park is an English riding program located in Aubrey, Texas, at Valhalla Stables. Aubrey, in Denton
County, is in the heart of North Texas horse country and is just moments from Hwy 380, Denton and Lake Ray Roberts. The
University of North Texas and Texas Women's University are also nearby.
We offer lessons, boarding for
lesson students, training and shows for children and adults.
Abingdon Park is owned and operated by Julie
Thomas, an instructor with a Level II Hunt Seat Certification as well as experience and success in the hunter show ring and
with the United States Pony Clubs.
Julie, who has served as the Head Instructor for Windmill Stables in Richardson
and also as the Regional Supervisor for the Red River Region Pony Clubs, has had much previous success with her student program
and show team at Windmill Stables. She is very enthusiastic about the program at Valhalla Stables, owned by
Rachel Morris and Kathy Roeper.
